In the releases of NextChapter v1.26 to v1.34 we have made some nice improvements. The most important developments at a glance are:
Content is highly important in e-commerce. The transfer of storytelling, inspiration, advice or special themes on content pages plays a greater role within webshops. This increases the number of content pages, but also increases relevance. On almost all webshops (even with the major players such as Bol.com and Coolblue) it is only possible to search within the products and not in content pages. In the NextChapter platform however, the search functionality on the webshop has been extended. It is now possible that search results are displayed from content pages. The search results are clearly displayed per category (for example: Products, Inspiration & Advice, Service).
In addition to the current Store Locator from NextChapter, the new Storelocator 2.0 is now available. In the Store Locator 2.0, both the home screen (search a store) and the store detail page have been improved both visually and functionally. The store pages are now fully indexable for Google. On the home screen, you see the search results in Google Maps simultaneously with a listing view. This makes the search results of the stores more clear and easier.
Store detail pages have a completely new layout and additional content options have been added such as:
Big wide main banner
More images
Opening hours with current day featured
Adjusted opening hours
Text 'About this store'
List view for assortment, brands, services etc.

With this module you can automatically process refunds from the NextChapter back office via Buckaroo and Adyen PSPs. With just a few clicks, return orders are credited, the amount refunded and the customer is informed by email.
NextChapter eCommerce is fully integrated with the carriers PostNL and Red Je Pakketje (which means, among other things, Same Day Delivery is now also automatically possible). Via the NextChapter back office, shipments can be registered directly with these carriers, you will receive the address labels so that they can be printed and the track & trace link is automatically sent to the customer.
You can now determine the (order of) fields in forms yourself.
You can manage even more 'Site specific content'.
In the NextChapter platform, a transaction can be paid with various payment methods. This means that a customer can, for example, pay for the purchase with a voucher, gift card, loyalty points and iDEAL. The refund of such a payment can now be perfectly processed by NextChapter. It is possible that you determine in which order of payment methods the refund will take place.
For sites with more than 50,000 products, the sitemap is well supported via Google sitemap index.
