Ambitions and challenges
A-Booth aims to strengthen its position in Europe by organizing more and more events. In doing so, the main goal is to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, the platform A-Booth was using was technically outdated, which hindered this growth. The platform was not scalable and required a lot of repetitive manual work. Therefore, A-Booth looked for a partner who could quickly launch their new e-commerce platform and web shops. By improving the order process, customer journey and simplifying the internal order fulfillment process, A-Booth can again fully focus on growth and realizing their ambitions.
What did A-Booth need?
Due to the growth that A-Booth has experienced, there arose a need for a proven, scalable e-commerce solution with a short implementation time. The first priority was to create their own B2B webshop, where business customers can easily order their stand materials, such as furniture, electronics, plants, and lighting. Thanks to this new webshop, customers can manage their own stand setup whenever they want, greatly improving the customer experience.
Additionally, A-Booth wanted to offer their customers the possibility of having specialized webshops for each trade show they organize. Through these webshops, all exhibitors can order their stand necessities, fully in the style of each specific event. A unique requirement for the shops is that they can be activated for a period of 4 months per year, during the run-up to and duration of the event. After that the webshops will be offline till the next event starts the year after. A-Booth needed two types of webshops: a basic and a premium variant to cater to the varying needs and budgets of their customers. Finally, it was important for A-Booth that NextChapter integrated with all their existing systems, including their ERP. Thanks to the NextChapter multiˣ connector, this was easily achievable.
What NextChapter has accomplished for A-Booth
A complete replatforming, with A-Booth utilizing the multiˣ suite.
A central multichannel and multilingual PIM, including content and pricing per channel. This system eliminated much repetitive and duplicate work while maintaining flexibility.
Own specialized webshop for each trade show. By reusing a proven e-commerce template, new webshops can be launched within a few days. The webshops feature innovative details such as an extensive address module and a product personalization module.
A-Booth sees the orders from all webshops clearly in the Order Management System. The extensive roles and rights structure determines which employee can view which transactional data.
For financial processing, NextChapter implemented an integration with the industry-specific ERP system Ridder IQ.

The final result
The conceived concept has proven to be a great success. After launching the first 20 webshops within one year, further growth to at least 30-40 webshops is anticipated. All webshops are managed from the central commerce engine. With this concept, A-Booth now better serves its customers online and strengthens its market proposition.
