Bannering module: highlight promotions and brand messages on listerpages

Lonneke Vromans -

Lister pages are the place where customers spend most of their time browsing, comparing, and discovering. Think of category pages, search result pages, or a dedicated sale page. This is exactly the moment when attention is high. With the bannering module in the NextChapter multiˣ suite, you can tap into that moment effectively.

What is the bannering module?

The bannering module is a powerful feature that allows you to place banners directly within your lister pages, in between products. A banner can be a striking image with a clear call-to-action (CTA), but it can also be purely informative or inspirational. This way, you can highlight campaigns and promotions while also strengthening your brand story.

Banners can be displayed in two formats:

Product image format – the banner appears within the product grid, in the same format as a product image.

Full-width image – the banner spans the entire width of the product grid, maximizing visibility.

TopShoe combines both formats, product-sized banners and full-width images, to highlight their new collection in an engaging and impactful way.

Why banners between products?

The strength of this module lies in its context. While customers scroll through product results, you can highlight relevant messages:

Promotions and discounts: for example, “20% off this weekend” or “Free shipping over €50.”

New collections: showcase fresh arrivals instantly.

Themes and inspiration: tap into seasonal events, holidays, or special campaigns.

Brand building: reinforce your brand identity or campaign message, even without a CTA.

LOOkX uses banners to reinforce their brand promise: “Look better, always. With LOOkX – Cosmetics For the Everchanging Skin.” This way they combine brand identity with subtle product promotion.

Because the banners are displayed directly within the product overview, they don’t get lost in the header or footer, but are truly seen.

Flexible in use

The bannering module is easy to manage from the backend of the NextChapter multiˣ suite. You decide:

    which banner is placed where,

on which lister pages it is visible,

and when it should be active or hidden.

This gives you full flexibility to launch campaigns and brand messages at the right time, without depending on developers.

Sam Friday uses the bannering module to communicate an eco-conscious message. With the banner “Because there is no planet B,” they emphasize that their swimwear is made from 100% recycled yarns.

More conversion and brand experience

Banners contribute to both brand building and conversion. They create more dynamics in your lister pages, strengthen campaigns, and guide customers to the right content or products. The result: a richer shopping experience and a higher chance of purchase.

With the bannering module, you have a versatile marketing tool at hand to get more out of your lister pages.
