The NextChapter platform was built on our own with our team of 30 e-commerce professionals (programmers, designers, project managers, marketers, etc.) and now we are on the verge of breaking through, first nationally and then internationally. In order to realize our ambitions, an six-figure investment was raised last year, which means that we are looking for talent to expand.

As a Sales Development Representative you are responsible for generating appointments and you work closely with our Sales Director who teaches you the tricks of the trade. By successfully combining different outbound techniques, you collect important prospects. In addition, our good reputation in the industry in combination with the active marketing department ensures that leads also find their way to NextChapter eCommerce, and you also maintain contact with these leads.
You are the first point of contact and therefore it’s important that you get enthusiastic from contact with people/companies, that you can translate a technical product into practical applications, that you can take a “no” for an answer and that you are enthusiastic about e-commerce in general.
Setting up relevant lead lists through a combination of sales software
Conducting multichannel outbound sales activities: email drip campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, events, telephone approach, visiting customers
Make leads curious about what NextChapter eCommerce can mean for them compared to their current solution
Scheduling appointments between the lead and the Sales Director. The faster you learn, the faster you can join in and get more responsibilities.
Giving presentations to new customers (possibly) together with the Sales Director
Elaboration of quotations and drawing up contracts
Join trade fairs, conferences, events
Guidance to possible sales interns
1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
Experience in the e-commerce and/or IT industry is a plus
Proactive and enthusiastic
You can listen well and work independently
HBO work and thinking level
You speak and write excellent Dutch and English
You are social, driven and result-oriented
