As a Sales Consultant you are responsible for bringing in new customers on the NextChapter platform and you work closely with the Sales Director and Sales Development Representative. Meetings that are coming through the SDR, but also your own acquisition, you build up your own pipeline and you start projects independently. You talk to prospects, give presentations (physical and virtual) and create custom quotes that you follow up yourself and after which you win the deal. The sales team is developing and there are strong growth opportunities both nationally and internationally.
You are a networker and easily make contact with people/companies, you can translate a technical product into practical applications, and you are enthusiastic about e-commerce in general.
Setting up multiple sales cycles and converting them into customers
Qualifying leads and making appointments
Providing presentations and demonstrations (together with one of the Project Managers or Product Owners)
Drawing up quotations and contracts
Joining trade fairs, conferences and events
2-5 years of sales experience, preferably with a SaaS or e-commerce product
Experience in giving pitches and presentations at board level
Proven experience in successfully closed deals
Knowledge of the most important business processes
Knowledge of decision making processes at management and board room level
You can listen well and work independently
Bachelor / university work and thinking level
You speak and write excellent Dutch and English
You are social, driven and result-oriented
